Elisabete Rodrigues Cargnello known as LISA.C was born on February 14, 1973.

 

It was as a teenager that she discovered a passion for drawing and more particularly for portraits.

 

Self-taught, she explores different techniques, from charcoal to ink to oil painting combined with collages of old newspapers, thus creating small commented scenes which will sometimes be tender, sometimes comical.

 

Very influenced by advertisements from the 1950s, she tries to recreate in her paintings this atmosphere of yesteryear, light and fanciful.

 

His painting is halfway between realism and comic strips.
